Clean the tip

Dry and dust it

To remove the water and moisture in the tube from the tip and dry it, you can use a blower bulb inserted into the tube or a high-pressure spray that dries it instantly and removes all the remaining dust.

Use drying capsules

Thanks to the silica gel they contain, drying capsules have a high absorption capacity for moisture, which is the main cause of hearing aid failure. Using them to clean your hearing aid therefore lets you prevent the electronic components from oxidizing and fight infections caused by natural perspiration. It’s, therefore, possible to place your hearing aid in a box with a drying capsule each night.

Change the battery

Since the vast majority of hearing aids are battery-powered, which allows them to operate for between 6 days and 3 weeks, you should consider checking the expiration date of the batteries and changing them at the right time. If you think you’ll forget the date to change the battery on your device, don’t hesitate to write down each change in a notebook that you’ll guard carefully. When changing the battery, you must first remove the dead battery and keep it away from the new one to avoid any confusion, then remove the protective sticker from the new battery at the last minute, and finally place it in the device. You should store the new battery packets in a dry place at a moderate temperature so they don’t oxidize before use. Please also keep the batteries out of reach of young children so they don’t put them in their mouths.
